Principal - Eric Cannon

Hello JBES family! My name is Eric Cannon. I have been blessed with the wonderful opportunity to serve as the new principal of Brown Elementary. I have worked as an educator, administrator, and supervisor for the Hickman County School System for 20 years. I am looking forward to working with you and your student for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. Assistant Principal - Jennifer Jones

I am Jennifer Jones, and I am proud to serve as the Assistant Principal at JBES. This is the start of my 17th year in education. Over the years, I have been a teacher at Marvin Wright Elementary, Mt. Pleasant Elementary, and Mt. Pleasant Middle School. I am passionate about teaching and consider myself to be a life-long learner. Supporting the students, faculty, and staff of Brown Elementary in their educational endeavors is my primary goal. 

I am blessed to have a strong support system at home in my husband Chris. We have two wonderful children, Evan and Amber. In my spare time, I enjoy playing word games and trivia. I am also a huge Tennessee Titans fan!
