Attendance Matters!

Student attendance is monitored daily by the state. Each absence, whether excused or unexcused, is recorded as the state evaluates the total amount of instructional time missed.

It is very important that your child not miss more than four (4) days within a nine-week period. Missing sixteen (16) or more days during the school year leads to a significant loss of instructional time, which can impact your child’s academic progress and may result in retention.

JBES Mission, Vision, & Motto

Text on a gray background reads 'Who We Are as a School' and lists school values: 'BRIGHT, ENGAGED ACHIEVERS who are RESPECTFUL and SAFE. We are BEARS!'
